Songs that begin with S
1) San Diego (written for Troop 90 by Lori, tune of: Gilligan’s Island)
Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a faithful troop,
That started from this big ole city abroad these tiny cars,
We packed the cars all the way up, didn’t plan on any problems
Seven passengers left that day for a 3 hr drive, a 3 hr drive
A car started having problems, the tiny car was dead
If not for the courage for the tow driver, we would be lost, we would be lost
The car landed in Santa Ana, the farthest it would go
Before that, we went to, Sea World and the Zoo, Shopping, and some more museums, Here in San Diego
So this is tale about being stranded, being gone for a long long time,
We had to make the best of things, when the tow guy came
The tow guy cam and towed the car all the way to Rosamond
To make us squished in the truck all the way home
No phone, No room, no runnin cars, all we had was our tow guy
This trip was a disaster but we all had lots of fun
We experienced many things, we need a dependable car,
We got home at 9pm, here in Rosamond.
